01What cookies are

Cookies are small data files stored on or accessed from a device when a website is used. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, SDK identifiers and comparable mechanisms. This notice uses "cookies" as a collective term unless the context requires otherwise.

02Binnovy’s approach

Binnovy uses a privacy-minimizing approach. Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where permitted because they are required to provide a requested function, maintain security or remember an essential preference. Non-essential preference, analytics or advertising technologies are not activated until the required consent has been obtained.

03Categories

• Strictly necessary — authentication, session continuity, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent records and other functions required for the website or requested service.
• Preferences — language, region, display or other optional settings chosen by the user.
• Analytics — aggregated or pseudonymized measurement used to understand website performance and improve content, activated only where the required consent exists.
• Advertising or cross-site tracking — Binnovy will not activate these technologies unless they are actually used, clearly disclosed in the live cookie register and permitted by the user’s consent and applicable law.

04Consent and withdrawal

On the first visit, and again when required after a material change, the website presents controls for non-essential cookies. You may accept, reject or configure non-essential categories. Withdrawing consent stops future activation of the relevant optional cookies but does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent access to core website content.

05Live cookie register

The cookie-settings interface should identify each active non-essential cookie or technology, its provider, purpose, category and duration. Binnovy’s publication control is that an optional technology must not be activated unless it is represented accurately in the live register and the relevant consent state permits it.

06Third-party technologies

Where an approved third party sets or reads cookies through a Binnovy website, that provider’s processing may also be subject to its own privacy terms. Binnovy evaluates such technologies before activation and seeks the consent required by applicable law. A third-party tool must not be characterized as anonymous or privacy-preserving unless its actual configuration supports that statement.

07Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies. Doing so may reset preferences or affect functionality that depends on necessary cookies. Browser controls operate separately from Binnovy’s consent manager.

08Retention

Cookie duration is limited to what is appropriate for the stated purpose. Session cookies expire when the session ends; persistent cookies remain only for the period identified in the live cookie register or until removed. Consent records may be retained for a reasonable period to demonstrate the user’s choice and comply with legal obligations.

09Personal data

Information collected through cookies may constitute personal data where it relates to an identifiable individual or device. Such data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice and applicable privacy law.

10Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Notice when website technologies change. The current version is identified by the "Last updated" date. Questions may be submitted through /contact, marked for Privacy & Data Protection.
