Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 2026

What users may and may not do with Binnovy websites, platforms, AI capabilities, infrastructure and services.

01Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to use of Binnovy websites, accounts, APIs, cloud or hosted services, AI functionality, development environments, integrations and other services. It forms part of the Terms of Service and, where incorporated, the customer’s commercial agreement.

02General rule

You may use Binnovy services only for lawful, authorized purposes and within the scope, technical limits and risk controls of your agreement. You are responsible for your users, credentials, customer data, connected systems and instructions supplied to Binnovy.

03Illegal, fraudulent or sanctioned activity

You must not use Binnovy to commit, facilitate, conceal, finance or materially support unlawful activity, including fraud, corruption, theft, terrorism, money laundering, sanctions evasion, trafficking, exploitation, cybercrime or infringement of third-party rights.

04Grave human-rights and armed-conflict misuse

You must not use Binnovy services, AI systems, data or infrastructure to materially facilitate genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, unlawful armed aggression, torture, enforced disappearance, slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, hostage-taking, deliberate attacks against civilians, persecution, unlawful forced displacement, or other grave violations of international humanitarian or human-rights law.

Without Binnovy’s express written approval following legal and safety review, you may not use Binnovy to build or operate systems intended to select or engage human targets, enable lethal autonomous weapon functions, conduct population-scale coercive surveillance, or identify protected populations for persecution or discriminatory harm.

05Cybersecurity abuse

  • Unauthorized access, credential theft, phishing, malware, ransomware, destructive payloads or command-and-control activity.
  • Probing, scanning, penetration testing or vulnerability exploitation against systems you do not own or lack explicit authorization to test.
  • Denial-of-service attacks, resource exhaustion, bot abuse or activity designed to disrupt networks or services.
  • Circumventing authentication, rate limits, tenant isolation, safety controls, logging, governance gates or other technical restrictions.
  • Using Binnovy to host, transmit or distribute malicious code or stolen credentials.

06Privacy, surveillance and personal data

You must have the legal rights, notices, permissions and lawful basis necessary for personal data you process through Binnovy. You must not use Binnovy for unlawful interception, covert surveillance, doxxing, identity theft, discriminatory profiling, or collection of sensitive personal data in violation of law. Special-category or regulated data may be processed only where the applicable service, agreement, approvals and security controls permit it.

07AI and automated-system misuse

  • Generating or presenting fabricated evidence, audit records, certifications, regulatory approvals or identity documents as authentic.
  • Using outputs without required human review in safety-critical or regulated decisions where law, contract or Binnovy policy requires human oversight.
  • Intentionally defeating safeguards designed to prevent unsafe, unlawful or out-of-scope agent behavior.
  • Misrepresenting an unverified output as a proven fact where the distinction is material.
  • Using AI functionality to facilitate cyber abuse, grave human-rights harm, fraud, harassment or prohibited discrimination.

08Intellectual property and content

You must not use Binnovy to knowingly infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other legal rights. You must not upload content you are prohibited from using or instruct Binnovy to process content in breach of confidentiality obligations.

09Platform integrity and fair use

You must not resell, sublicense, benchmark for publication in breach of an agreement, overload, scrape, replicate or reverse engineer a Binnovy service except where expressly permitted. Automated use must respect published APIs, quotas, rate limits and technical instructions.

10Security research

Good-faith security research is permitted only within a published Binnovy vulnerability-disclosure or bug-bounty scope, or with prior written authorization. Research outside the authorized scope may be treated as unauthorized activity. Binnovy will not pursue good-faith researchers who follow the published rules and applicable law.

11Enforcement

Binnovy may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including requesting information, limiting functionality, isolating resources, blocking content, suspending access, terminating the relationship, preserving evidence or reporting conduct where legally required. Where immediate risk exists, action may be taken before notice. Contractual and legal rights remain reserved.

12Reporting

Report suspected abuse through /contact and mark the message "Acceptable Use / Abuse". Security vulnerabilities should be reported through the vulnerability-reporting channel described on the Trust & Security page.
