Why we went first.

A standard you live, not sell
We refused to sell governance we had not lived. Binnovy’s own AI operations run on AIIX Intelligence Runtime — registered, tiered, gated, and ledgered like any client engagement.

The author, bound first
The Normative Register binds the author before the market: AIIX-C-0001 is issued to Binnovy under the Founding Appraisal Provision, so the first organization the standard judges is the one that wrote it.

Same instruments, no exception
No private fast lane. The fourteen domains, the five lenses, the minimum-gate caps and the Conformance Score are computed against Binnovy exactly as they are for a customer.

AIIX-C-0001 — the self-appraisal
Board-witnessed, conducted in full per the Appraisal Method, with the complete Appraisal Record (A-21) published and a founding annotation — re-appraised by the first licensed external assessor within twelve months.

ISO/IEC 42001 — the independent leg
Binnovy maintains ISO/IEC 42001 for its own AI management system — a third-party-certified standard, the independent counterpart to a claim the author makes about itself.

One claim the author makes, one a third party verifies — together they are proof rather than promise, and the ISO/AIMS crosswalk shows where it meets and exceeds 42001.

Binnovy’s own AI use cases carry a registry identity, a risk tier, and a named owner — nothing ships unregistered.

Honest about where we are

AIIX-C-0001 is held under the Founding Appraisal Provision; the verification service and the public registers open with first issuance, and until then those surfaces are labelled pre-issuance — we will not show a certificate number we cannot yet resolve. The ISO/IEC 42001 certificate reference is published with the trust pack. This honesty is part of the proof.
